If u're looking for memorials and museums then DC is definitely a place for you cause they have nothing else... Anyway not very good time for photos coz the weather sux.. was cloudy for most days.

Ah... Lincoln Memorial... To the flanks of the Lincoln Memorial you have the Korean War and Vietnam Veterans Memorials.

Korean War Memorial... Every single dude here has a sad and gloomy face... Must be the weather.

Vietnam Veteran Memorial. Nothing more than thousand of names of American soldiers killed during the war...

The Washington Memorial is the tallest structure you can find in DC due to some laws protecting it. Its also the centre of all the memorials and important buildings around the area.
To the north (i believe) is the White House and to the south (as shown below) is the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. To the east is the Capitol (below as well) and to the west is the Lincoln Memorial (see above). Its kinda cool cause you can see all the "attractions" from the top of the Washington Memorial and they are all nicely lined up.

Thomas Jefferson Memorial. This is a shot taken from inside the building (obviously). Will not post a shot of the inside coz its kinda similar to the Lincoln Memorial except Jefferson is standing. Anyway this is the guy who draft the Declaration of Independence (ya national treasure) on july 2nd long long time ago and it was edited by the congress and the final draft approve on july 4th (independence/my birthday). Thomas Jefferson is also the 3rd President of the United States.

This is the US Capitol. Nothing much abt it except it looks so much better than the White House.

Well from where i took the Capitol building shot, turn ard and u get the Wash. Mem. again..
This whole thingy is starting to sound like some history lesson.. But i dun really fancy talking abt my life, what i ate, what i did (wasnt the purpose of this blog either) so i figured out instead of just posting the photos, i'll just add some commentaries/background info to it.
